Gallagher Bluedorn to “Light It Blue” in Tribute to Frontline Health Workers

UNI NEWS SERVICES – On Friday, April 17, 2020 the lobby of the Gallagher Bluedorn will “Light It Blue” in tribute to frontline health workers. The lobby display is inspired by the nationwide #LightItBlue campaign that lights up landmarks for health care workers. The Gallagher Bluedorn on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa Junction will join the campaign to show support for the people on the frontlines during COVID-19. 

The Gallagher Bluedorn is currently closed to the public and all events that were previously scheduled in the Gallagher Bluedorn have been cancelled. Updates on future events will be posted to the Gallagher Bluedorn website at gbpac.com. 

The public is encouraged to stay at home and not visit the Gallagher Bluedorn specifically to see the lights. The lighting display will be shared through the Gallagher Bluedorn Facebook page and other social media channels. The lights being used in the display are LED and utilize minimal amounts of power.
