Open Window Theatre's FRASSATI Presented by St. Damascus Gild

He scaled mountains, sang out of tune, and changed lives forever—now his story climbs to the stage in FRASSATI.

Experience the remarkable true story of St. Pier Giorgio Frassati like never before in this acclaimed stage production by playwright Jeremy Stanbary. FRASSATI offers audiences of all ages a chance to encounter a vibrant life fully lived with boundless joy and heroic virtue.

Deeply drawn to serving others, Pier Giorgio lived as a true "Man of the Beatitudes." An avid mountaineer, university student, activist, and advocate for the poor, he lived with passionate purpose before succumbing to polio in 1925 at just twenty-four years old. At his funeral, thousands filled the
streets, honoring his profound legacy.

Described as a spiritual biographical drama, FRASSATI reveals enduring truths. In a world facing division and despair, he stands as a beacon of hope—a peacemaker who lived to uplift those in need.

Audiences will be moved, challenged, and inspired by this stirring production celebrating a life marked by self-giving love and unwavering purpose. Whether you’re encountering Frassati for the first time or returning to his story with fresh eyes, this play offers an inspiring reminder of the greatness each of us is called to pursue.
