Before world-renowned The Kingdom Choir takes our stage, join us in the lobby for a special preshow performance from Ahmad Madlock. This local artist is celebrated for his stunning vocals and charismatic stage presence. Ahmad will perform a 30-minute gospel set alongside special guests.
About Ahmad
Ahmad Madlock, son of Ed & Krystal Madlock and Cedar Falls High School graduate, is currently a first-year at UNI pursuing a degree in Elementary Education.
Ahmad has been singing and performing his entire life; a passion of his.
Ahmad’s accomplishments include, but are not limited to:
- Three-time Iowa All-State singer
- Division 1 solo/ensemble performer
- 2021 All-State soloist
- National Choral Award recipient
- Iowa High School Music Association (IHSMA) outstanding solo performance
- Two-time Iowa All-State speech performer
Ahmad has also worked with renowned American composer and conductor Andre’ Thomas. Recently, Ahmad appeared on the Waterloo Community Playhouse stage as Donkey in Shrek The Musical.
